The Mira Mesa Chamber of Commerce wants you! If you are a business located in Mira Mesa, now is the time to join and become an active participant in our growing chamber. We are looking for community oriented business owners and managers that want to network with similar minded leaders to promote their businesses within our community. The chamber is a great way to grow your business, as we provide access to business resources and direct links to business professionals in Mira Mesa. We hold monthly meetings that are both informative, and a great way to promote your business. Joining the Chamber is also cost effective, at only $10 per month.

With the new calendar year upon us, we are also looking for new board members and committee members. Interested individuals should contact our Chairman through this link. Some of the events the Chamber promotes are the 4th of July Fireworks, Parade, Day at the Park, Mira Mesa Street Fair, and various projects that benefit Mira Mesa Residents and Businesses. Why start a Mira Mesa Chamber of Commerce? We have been asked this question by a few people from a few organizations. Our answer is simple...because there is a need and desire for one. There are already other larger chambers out there, some which include Miramar and Mira Mesa as part of their territory. Even though we as a community have been associated with them, little has been done to improve Mira Mesa directly.

We wanted more, and a very energetic group of business professionals gathered and discussed what we should do about it. We talked to local business owners, other Chamber board members, and we decided to build the Mira Mesa Chamber of Commerce. What started out as a group of community leaders with a lot of good ideas and a solid game plan, is growing into an organization which will benefit the small business owners and residents of Mira Mesa. Our goal is to be the resource for business improvement, unifying the various businesses in Mira Mesa under one collective, and establishing an identity for our business community.

Why reinvent the wheel? We don't want to. By affiliating our chamber with the larger chambers, we can offer our members the same benefits that they offer, while saving our members money in the process. We also have direct links to these chambers, so we are not duplicating efforts and wasting time and money. We are a virtual Chamber, and as such we rely on the website for information and communication. This website will have links to member businesses, San Diego North Chamber, San Diego Regional Chamber, Governmental Leaders, and more. Information relating to Mira Mesa, community events, Chamber meetings and direct contact to the Board Members are all just a click away.

There is strength in numbers, and the more local businesses we have as members, the more the Chamber can do for the community. We have a lot of goals, all that benefit our members and their customers. Education, business prosperity, and community improvement are the primary focus of our efforts. We realize that money is tight in today's economy, so the need to keep membership dues minimal is critical. We believe in this whole heartedly, so as a principle... all board members are non-paid volunteers.
